Although he was born and raised in Argentina, Mauro Colagreco’s culinary career has been spent largely in France, working with chefs such as Bernard Loiseau, Alain Passard, and Alain Ducasse before he opened Mirazur in Menton, France, so close to Italy that he could walk there in three minutes.

The restaurant’s recent appearance at #4 on the World’s Best 50 restaurants (the highest placement of any restaurant in France) has created intense interest in the chef’s work and we’re delighted to have a few copies of the handsome French-language edition. Reflecting Colagreco’s obsession with local ingredients, the book offers profiles of the farmers, foragers, winemakers, and other artisans who supply the restaurant.
